Jennifer Latham Robinson is an author and illustrator who was born with bilateral femoral focal deficiency (PFFD). Her right leg was amputated when she was two years old. Jennifer embraces all the tools she uses to get from A to B, including her prosthesis, crutches, wheelchair, and gumption.
Jennifer has worked in the orthotic and prosthetic industry for nearly twenty years. The experiences presented in her art are based on first-hand experience, as well as countless conversations with others.
Jennifer Latham Robinson is an author, illustrator, musician, and disability advocate. She is also the maker of Outsider Dolls. Jennifer lives in Durham, North Carolina with her wonderful husband, two amazing daughters, and dog.
